Dear XXXXX-

I am writing to ask for your votes in supporting two important ballot measures for Franklin Pierce Schools on the February 10 ballot.

Proposition 1 provides 15% of the operating budget for Franklin Pierce Schools. It funds over 200 staff positions, specialized programs for multilingual and special educations students, important extracurricular programs like athletics, music and art, and covers the gap for basic expenses like supplies, insurance and basic operating costs. This is a replacement levy for an existing levy that will expire at the end of the year.

Proposition 2 provides funding for technology, safety and modest much-needed facilities upgrades in Franklin Pierce Schools. It supports computers for staff and students, display walls, network and server tools, access control, security cameras and systems as well as updates to aging facilities. It also makes important investments in classrooms, restrooms and community recreation/athletics facilities. This will replace that Technology-only levy that is set to expire at the end of the year.

These propositions are important for our community and schools.
